H.L. WHOREDOM RIFE is on heavy rotation since I consciously discovered them with their latest mighty opus "Winds of Wrath". This actual release is so perfect that I simply had to explore the whole back catalogue as well! Also in case of "NID" I didn't regret it as it shows the typical harsh but beautiful and dense atmosphere. Just listen to "Where shadows dwell". "Hylliest" or "Ceremonial Incantations" to name the three outstanding anthems on this great reklease. Favorite track: Where shadows dwell.

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days.
